A new name for a new day The Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau is now the Crime Victims Action Alliance Why the new name? The agency has been through many changes since our inception almost two decades ago. The only thing that has not changed is our name. Although we were all emotionally attached to our old name, a decision was made to change our name to better reflect our mission. The Crime Victims Action Alliance is an agency that takes action to help enhance and improve the rights of victims of crime.
